They do not stick to the wound, making dressing changes much easier and with no pain. The cushion is enough to prevent any friction from clothing, even in very difficult spots. These came to me at a time when I didn't think I could handle much more and transformed my healing to a manageable place. Worth the money! 5We had been using bandages with the Mepilex border and they were great. But we weren't able to find moreThese bandages do not stick! We had been using bandages with the Mepilex border and they were great. But we weren't able to find more, so we ordered these. We ended up using tape which is what we had been trying not to do as my husband's skin was getting raw from the constant taping of bandages. These literally fell off within an hour of using them. Waste of money. 1Great adhesion even on an elbow.This is the best patch I have ever used on my wound. A bit EXPENSIVE as I change my dressing daily. The item is fantastic for a person with a wound and a plus for those with extremely sensitive skin plus an added issue of being on blood thinners... I've searched all over for a product like this.On thing: Based on the location of the wound in this case (mid-back on right), while in bed, the bandage does curl up some. Found wearing a t-shirt helped. I found a smaller sized dressing of the same brand/type to minimize curling up...it worked a bit better for us. But it's all dependent on each case, I feel. 5good sizeAllevyn is the best there is. No question. The size is perfect for small to medium wounds or simply to prevent a wound from forming thanks to the thin foam padding. Unless soiled, the Allevyn does not need to be changed. The dressing stays in place for days in areas that might be a problem such as the sacrum. 5
