Although I only get a few pimples here and there and am devoted to eating healthy, I still wanted to try burdock root to see if it helped with cleansing. The first week, I took two capsules three times daily with meals. After the first 3 days my body felt it. I felt bloated and uncomfortable. Every time I took it it affected my digestive system (which I have a good digestive system). The second week, I lowered the dose to two capsules two times daily but that didn't help any either and my moderate acne stayed the same regardless of the dosage. It only gave me a tummy ache and made me feel irritable. I stopped taking it after the second week. After I stopped taking it, my body was back to normal. I did not want to continue taking it because it stressed my body out so I thought best to stop. Maybe I should have tried it out longer but I don't like putting my body through unnecessary stress. I guess it is not for everyone but it might work for you!3don't notice any differenceThere is some precautions with this herbal mix!Medications that slow blood clotting (Anticoagulant / Antiplatelet drugs) interacts with BURDOCKBurdock might slow blood clotting. Taking burdock along with medications that also slow clotting might increase the chances of bruising and bleeding.Some medications that slow blood clotting include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), diclofenac (Voltaren, Cataflam, others), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others), naproxen (Anaprox, Naprosyn, others), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, warfarin (Coumadin), and others.3Works great for me!I love this item.
