Best I've found - gluten free, too!I have been taking this particular brand of calcium for more than a decade. My criteria while at a local vitamin store was a calcium supplement that would give me the calcium and magnesium I needed in the smallest dose. I simply could not deal with taking 6 or more tablets a day. These were recommended, at the time, without the zinc, and I have been taking them ever since and have even got my sister on them. She has a number of health issues that prohibit her from consuming a lot of things commonly found in tablets - starches, sugar, corn, wheat - a long list and it is hard for her to find vitamins she can take. These are free of a host of unnecessary stuff, including gluten (I just looked at the new label to see exactly what). They are even kosher! So no choking down large numbers of big pills - just three. Without the zinc, it's two. And although they are large-ish they are smooth, fairly slim and easy to swallow. I would not trade these for any more "fashionable" brand and highly recommend them. Price here on Amazon is excellent - a whole lot less than I paid more than 10 years ago for a smaller bottle! 5One Stari buy this item twice and it was wrong twice 1Four StarsGood combination of key minerals, and you can generally expect good quality ingredients from Country Life. 4Contains 500 mg phosphorousBe careful as phosphorous is a current food additive in many forms.. Too much can cause health problems... Label should specify it contains phosphorous and does not. 3An important to add to multi vitamin routine.Most multi vitamins don t have these essential minerals! I never knew this and when my hair started falling out after my 3rd baby I quxiltly became depressed. My pharmacist friend suggested I take minerals to help with mood and hair fall. Have been taking this brand since 2015. Love them. Great price! 5Allergen free mineral supplementI love Country Life as they clearly list all allergens on the label. It's gluten free, dairy free, soy free, corn free, etc. The company takes it a step further and carries the GFCO (gluten free certification) and AVA certification (vegan). Those who must avoid certain allergens can take this product with peace of mind. I highly recommend Country Life products. 5Be CarefulI strongly suggest if you have not been advised by a doctor that you don't take a zinc supplement. I usually take the Country Life Mag+Cal capsules and do well with them I decided to try the tabs+zinc cause I thought they would be better, boy was I wrong. These tabs made me instantly nauseous and I had cramping and diarrhea a few hours later as well. Thinking it might have been a fluke I waited a few days and took one again and got the exact same results. I don't have a sensitive stomach and these tore mine up so if you do I suggest you steer clear of anything with zic unless advised by your doc. 2Good Quality ProductThis is a very good product, maybe a little pricey but it has easily absorbed forms of calcium and zinc. Wish it had less magnesium oxide and more of the other forms but still satisfied overall. My only complaint is not about the product or Country Life, but with the fulfillment center where mine is shipped from. 2 out of the 3 times I have ordered this product, it has come in a box with NO packing materials. The box is big enough for it to bounce around to the point that one bottle was shattered when I received it. Amazon gave me a refund but didn't seem to concerned about the poor packaging. 4Nice ProductMisunderstood that mins did not mean Mini. Pills actually are VERY LARGE and difficult to swallow. My fault I guess. I am now in need of a pill crusher. Live and learn.LE 3Highly recommendedI buy this regularly. It meets my requirements on every level. 5
