Great pads, but smoky deliveryThese pads are great! The only issue I had was they arrived smelling like cigarette smoke. The box, invoice, and package of pads all smelled like smoke. I m airing them out to see if that helps as my mom could really use them.4Helpful for caretakersThese work really well. When my dad was ill, they greatly reduced the amount of cleaning and laundry we had to do. They were comparatively less expensive than a lot of other options while still being very usable. The size was perfect.5Highly Recommended - Outstanding ProductThese items are outstanding. They provide the perfect night time bed protection, they are comfortable, and are highly absorbent. Also, they can be cut into fourths and placed on top of a large pad when only small areas are needed. We have placed several orders for these and will continue to use them.5Best absorbent pad ever!This product is exceptional in meeting the needs of my husband who was a non-ambulatory patient. It is strong so that it a can be pulled from underneath the patient without tearing yet is soft enough not to abrade the skin. It is so absorbent it can hold up to a liter of fluid - perfect under the patient for bathing, wound care or incontinence. I highly recommend this product.5Great Quality Bed PadWe tried other brands of bed pads and were not pleased because they were too light weight and the filling seemed to disintegrate. These are hospital weight and cover an adequate amount of bed space. I bought them for my aunt who had Alzheimer, was incontinent and was bed ridden.5Great protection at a reasonable priceThese pads are definitely "heavy duty" and much thicker than the standard liners. We use them under the sheets as an extra protection for our 2 year old son who sometimes wets the bed. They prevent the mattress protector beneath it from getting the least bit wet, even when the pad is soaked with urine. If you can manage to leave them on top of the sheets, you'll save your sheets too!5Need a waterproof layer for your pet?Great product! Works as a great underlayer for your pets sleeping bed. Waterproof layer helps keep floors, pet beds dry. Works for recovery of surgical wounds as it is easily disposed of. Helps with older pets "leaks". Works just as well for humans for temporary use too?5WORTH IT!I have bought the thinner and less expensive pads for my mom, but these are the Mercedes of pads! They don't scoot around and get frayed as she gets in and out of bed. They are strong and hospital quality and worth it because you don't need to buy as many. Very happy with this purchase!5Keeps linens dry.These are hospital grade chux, capable of moving a 200 lb person and holding a large volume of fluid. I use these over fabric underpads and they are fabulous at keeping the bed dry and bottom chux dry. I use the fabric underpad underneath as a safeguard because we have had one incident of leakage; this isn't because the Covidien shields failed, but because we failed to monitor closely the volume of liquids my disabled brother consumed that day and he urinated far beyond normal overnight. This is the only incident of leakage in almost a year of using these Covidien underpads, and we couldn't be more satisfied. We will continue to purchase these shields in the future.5Excellent product!These are a great alternative to cloth pads and much better than the usual hospital fare. They stay in place better and provide better coverage. They do cost more, but buying them by the case saves you some.5
