it felt like my foot was floatingNo brainer to put on. Just don't let the tab stop on top of the ankle. I wore it for the day while pattern making and when I took it off to watch the news, it felt like my foot was floating. I'll have to get one for the other foot that isn't injured and then I'll walk on air at the end of the day. Great product. Thank you! 5Great for daughter who rolls her ankle in soccerBought 2 of these for my daughter - who keeps rolling her ankle (between soccer and basketball) one was for a back up. My daughter loves it and we no longer have a "rolling" issue! she wears it on the outside of her sock but can still wear her cleats 5Best we found.Quick to put on and good stability. My boy plays a lot of ball. High school and AAU. He rolled his ankle hard in a game a year ago and has worn these since. We own two pair so they don t get too ripe. We wash them in our LG washers on the sanitary or the quick setting. They are a great product. At this point he wears them for preventative purposes only. He now won t play with out them. As a note we tried some others and didn t like them as much. And the others were more expensive. 5Great support for a rolled ankleI rolled my ankle so bad i dislocated it and fractured it in 2 places. After the air cast, this brace has helped me transition out of the cast safely. It gives me peace of mind as it holds my ankle firmly preventing another roll over, but still allows for movement of the foot, up and down. I can drive again!The fit is very tight on my fat calf, but perfect otherwise. I might have gotten a large instead, had i known. 5Great ankle braceDaughter needed another brace, and this was the ticket. She is a competitive gymnast and has had issues this year with her ankle. Brace was exactly what she needed. 5Skeptic to ConvertI love this thing. I fractured my foot and really did a number on my ankle as well. After one doc, as my current states, "left me with an under-rehabbed foot," my doctor wanted me in a brace for 6-12 months while getting back to my regular routine of plyo, weightlifting, cycling, and hiking.WARNING: You're going to take it out of the box and you're going to be overwhelmed by all of the straps. Once your brain gets used to wrapping all of the straps in a specific way, you'll then be annoyed because, the first time you put it on, it's going to feel like a hindrance. You're going to complain to your spouse about how all of your shoes will stretch out and how you'll never get used to it and you can't believe you have to wear this stupid thing for a year. Then, after one training session, you'll shove your well-protected foot in your mouth because you were oh-so-wrong and this brace is the best thing that's ever happened to you and you don't even notice its presence anymore. It has become a part of you. You are now one with the brace.I love it. I have generalized joint hypermobility and all of my joints are sad and wobbly. If they made a brace for the entire body, I'd probably strap in. It's that good. Buy it. Buy it now. 5Awesome real ankle braces!!!very good. I love it, I had several times sprained both of my ankles and since then it is very easy for my ankles to get twisted/sprained. A few weeks ago, i ran alongside my kids on an outdoor obstacle course were the terrain was very irregular and full of holes and these "braces" keep my feet safe.Size for me was spot on, exactly what I needed 5So far so goodMy daughter (14) plays Volleyball as a middle and was previously wearing another brand (AA). Although the other brand did well in protecting her ankle, I was worried about putting more sprain on the knee as she had recently been complaining about knee pain. Although I can't be sure the pain was caused by the rigidness of the other type, I wanted to go with a recommendation from her coach as to what she should be wearing so we are giving these a go. She initially complained the new brace was tighter than the previous brand and could't move her foot as much when she first put it on. However, after a few practices, she no longer complains of this so I suspect she just needed to get used to it.She loves the speed laces and her fellow teammates are a bit jealous as they have the original, non-speed model.I'll post an update on durability and support once the season progresses. 5best braceI love that this brace is already laced up -makes it so much easier. I transitioned into this brace after wearing a walking boot for 6 weeks and this is the best brace I've ever had. It gave me the support that I needed. I was fitted for 3 different braces from my physician and none of them were as comfortable as this brace. 5Excellent Support for playing soccer.This ankle support is excellent. I sprained my ankle about a month ago whilst playing soccer. I rested it for a week or so, but was keen to get back to playing, of course I returned too soon and rolled my ankle again. I really did not want to have to say away from playing too long so I tried wrapping my ankle and another ankle support which did work but just didn't give me the support and confidence that I needed that I would not roll my ankle again.I tried this DonJoy Ankle support and loved it straight away. It gives great support for my ankle without restricting my movement too much whilst playing soccer. It can take a little bit of maneuvering when wearing under a soccer cleat to prevent rubbing or just uncomfortable placement in parts but once done it works brilliantly. I feel that my ankle is almost back to 100% now, although I will continue to wear this support whilst playing to prevent future injuries. 5
