Much better flavor than limeMuch better flavor than lime. Seems to help my running recovery significantly. I also used it daily after skiing 5 days straight and felt like I recovered much faster for subsequent days.5A skeptic's experienceI've lifted my whole life on and off, and being sore is the worst because I'm too dumb to know when to quit. Now I'm older, calling in sick because I did too many squats just isn't appealing. So, after some research prior to starting P90X, I bought this hoping it would deliver.CAVEAT: I've not too much confidence in (and typically don't buy) weightlifting-specific products. I take vitamins and such, but not the "SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN FASTEST FAT BURNER ON THE MARKET - GUARANTEED!!!" type garbage. Also, I typically don't enjoy the taste of most supplements; protein bars and shakes just don't appeal. My point is: buying Endurox really was a stretch and I was pretty skeptical.Two key factors:1) I was not nearly as sore as I should have been for the amount of exercise completedThe lack of soreness is phenomenal: after decades of being in/out of the gym, I would have never expected any product could prevent so much pain. I still experience light soreness two-days later, but not nearly what I've been through previously. Everyone has differing physiology, but the overwhelming amount of positive responses are what brought me to buy, and I'm happy to have the same experience. If I'd had only had this product twenty years ago!2) It really doesn't taste bad at allTaste is subjective, but for my taste, if I go half-power the flavor is disgusting. Too much and it's grainy. I use just slightly less than two scoops (the directions call for two scoops) because even when you shake like hell there is usually some un-mixed powder left behind. The taste is good enough that I actually look forward to the end of a P90X session and use the drink as motivation to get up early and work out. The amount of sugar is scary though for only 12oz of water: diabetics may want to take note.Bottom line: the price is steep but worth it to me just for the pain avoidance. Factor in the flavor (Orange) and I'm all smiles.5I have used R4 for years and when riding many ...I have used R4 for years and when riding many miles on consecutive days I notice my recovery is improved versus when I have not used it.
