I love the bulk amount but would not use this manufacture ...One desperate success then three failures to work so far. Tape dries up about half way through sliding the grips on. I tried everything but no go. I love the bulk amount but would not use this manufacture again. 1Poor qualityFirst of all the tape was too thin. Then the glue on the tape come off on the club shaft as the grip was pushed onto the shaft. It was like liquid and made a gluey mess on the club shaft. 1Fast and accurate, thanks!Perfect! Now I can regrip my favorite putter. 5Thin film "tape"This type of product is a thin film of glue rather than tape. Not useful if you like to use grip tape as build up tape. Also, when solvent is applied it gets very gum-like and the grips can get stuck as you try to install. I find you have to use an excessive amount of solvent for this kind of tape/film 1Top ShelfI've used several brands of grip tape over time, and this has been the best I've found. 5Works fine2"x36 yds - better to cut your own length from a roll vs. pre-cuts. However, like others have commented, sometime difficult to peel off backing and it is thin compared to retail store brands. 3Absolute junk ! Stick with the precut strips ! Tears easily! Not cut straight ! Could it be any worse? I don't think so!Saw a video of a pro in the Titleist club van using rolled tape on an angle to avoid overlap and a buildup which could be felt under the grip.Made sense and it still might but not with this product.It is horrible to use in every way.It is not cut cleanly and has a thin (not easily seen) "hang on" edge that gets underneath the tape.It is not easy to separate the waxy paper from the glue side even with magnification on.And most importantly it tears incredibly easily when you are manipulating it on the club forcing you to start over.It may be the singular WORST thing I've ever bought on Amazon. 1Worst product I've ever purchased on AmazonRegripping clubs is supposed to be fun. My father introduced me to it. We did it together and loved that we played a small role in the finished product.This tape ruins the experience. I average more than 50 Amazon purchases per year. This is literally and easily the worst product I've ever bought on this site.Normally the tape and backing are heavy and substantial, easily separated. This version is so cheap and thin it's beyond maddening. Multiple family members made the attempt. Everyone ended up cursing and some gave up. Unfortunately I had to hang in there until the project was done. Took more than 90 minutes when it should have required 10.The tape is so thin and flimsy it will curl back onto itself if you aren't careful. So even when the tape is separated you aren't in the clear.The ineptitude of this tape was glaring because there was a direct comparison. I ran out of the Golfworks version and found this garbage variety in the closet. Laughable quality.Hireko is a good company. I've made many direct purchases from their website. Jeff and others provide excellent customer service.They should all be embarrassed to market a product like this. It may be passable for experts within the industry. Not even close for hobbyists. 1Decent but there's betterTough to separate from the backing...unlike the good Brampton tape. This tape backing is very slick / stiff.... can be a chore. I've been gripping for 32 years 3It is too thin and easy to tearIf I could give this a zero star review I would. It is not worth any money. It is definitely not for gripping golf clubs. It is too thin and easy to tear, solvent goes through it and dries as you slide the grip on the shaft. Wasted 2 grips trying to reshaft an iron. DO NOT BUY THIS TAPE. Wish I could have used it as soon as I purchased it but still had my old tape. What a waste of money. 1
