Very goodBought for my husband who works with loads and he wears it everyday and says it helps keep his back safe. That says a lot because my husband is very difficult lol 5Saves my back40 years ago I had a nasty fall that injured my spine. Since then an exercise regime has kept potential issues at bay and I have been able to be very active, even athletic. But at 75 the old injury has been able to interfere with my plans to continue to lead an active life, and after a day of heavy lifting, for which I have the strength, I am often faced with a week or two of severe back pain. Between this belt and another for which I have written a virtually identical review, my problem has been resolved. I only wear the belt when doing heavy lifting, such as yesterday when I shoveled heavy, wet, snow, and the result so far has been no subsequent pain from any of my activity. Because this belt can be worn via the suspenders even when the belt has not been tightened, I wear it when traveling so that I can handle our suitcases on every occasion that they need to be lifted (in/out of a car; in/out of an overhead bin, etc.). 5I often have back issues when seated in a car ...I often have back issues when seated in a car or plane for long hours. This product helps, but I have to make sure that the belts are adjusted just right otherwise the support portion moves up from where I need it. 4I am in great shape for a guy my ageThe belt is doing it's job. I get the comfort, & lower back support stability that insures I will never have to suffer with lower back fatigue, with the risk for injury. I an a 62 year old dock worker for G.E. medical systems. I am in great shape for a guy my age, but I don't kid myself that a back injury could happen at any time. This back support gives me more insurance, & confidence. 5Fantastic supportThis belt supports the lower back quite well and is comfortable even after several hours of wear. I do have a sizing warning for you, which is: my waist is 41 - 42", the XL Deluxe did not synch up tight enough to provide me with full back support. I traded the XL in for the Large belt and although the belt is tight, it does provide great support. If your waist is over 42" you may wish to stay with the XL belt.Bottom line, the Maxar Deluxe work belt is well constructed, provides superb lower back support and significantly increases the amount and quantity of work I can complete without excessive pain. 5Five StarsVery well made back support that fits my 6 2 , 265 lbs frame. 5It seemed to act as a ridged yet flexible and comfortable exoskeleton. As far as doing what they were supposedly designed for,the old adage still holds true. If you want a serious work item,you are going to have to check the reviews,then apply some common sense. You are going to have to decide if you want something that is well constructed or an over sized cheaply made knockoff? This product works! I have been using mine for 3 months with zero problems. I guess sometimes you actually do get what you pay for! 5
