DissatisfiedI plan to return my purchase as it does not look like the product pictured. Checking heel and calf measurements in am before stocking application and again at night after stocking removal. These stocking work and are properly sold as graduated compression stockings. As always, applying stocking correctly is critical to keeping in good condition and working correctly, as well as the cleaning of the stockings. Have ordered the 30-40 open to also. Looking forward to receiving compression stockings. Who would have thought. Retired nurse, 45 years experience in variety of settings , including 18 years teaching nurse aides. I have had stockings applied more ways to me and with different brands and sizes and pressure sizing. Surprisingly I still have legs and my need now is medical. Nice to be able to order these via Amazon. I only need them when it's hot (just when you don't want to be wearing something heavy and awful). The Mediven brand seem more light weight than other brands I've tried in the past. 5A great fitThese compression stockings are comfortable fitting and hold up the daily washing and wearing. They do not lose their elasticity but you need to hand wash and hang dry with the products recommended. 5Wonderful brand but not comfortable for meI have worn Medi for years. I recently tried other brands and they did not compare with Mediven. This time I tried the Mediven Assure. They are painful and wrinkle at the front of the ankle. I called Mediven today and they said I may have a defective pair and I should notify the vendor. They also suggested I might find the original Mediven a better fit because they are sized differently. I was hoping the less expensive ones would be okay. I gave them 3 stars because they may work for someone else. 3Your leg sizeI have been using these socks due to lymphadema which resulted from a back injury. Amazon s price is better than what I was paying Medivan. I will be purchasing them again. 5DissappointingDo not stretch well. Fall down. 2Great fabric and finally a pair that fits wellI purchased these in search of a comfortable compression sock that fits well and is light weight for mild edema in one foot. Other brands are knit sock material which is not only hot in the summer, but they leave an indentation in your skin from the fabrics being snug. THESE HOWEVER DO NOT. They are made from a smooth, breathable fabric. I had trouble finding ones that fit my calves and ankles. These are perfect. My ankles are approx. 10 and calves are 17 inches. I am 5 4 and I purchased the petite length. They fit good and don t pinch in the upper legs but I wouldn t get petite if you are any taller. I do have to cinch them up occasionally. After returning multiple pairs, I m happy to have found a brand that is perfect. 5Cute!They are cute, comfortable and has the right type of beige color for my skin tone but I feel, as a long time user from this kind of stuff, it does not have too much pressure. I do not think is a 20-30 Compression. 4
