This helped with being able to utilize the Ferrofood iron ...This helped with being able to utilize the Ferrofood iron supplement. Body does not always produce enough intrinsic factor which is needed for iron absorption. 5BEST ON THE MARKET FOR B12 ABSORPTION!Having pernicious anemia, but refusing to get shots, I wasted a TON of $ on different B12 products, in a short amount of time. Nothing was working. In fact, was feeling worse as if I was dying. Until I found THIS. And thank GOD it works. Without the intrinsic factor, I don t think anything else would ve worked for me. If I hadn t found this particular brand, I was going to be forced to get shots. I immediately started taking 2 of these with a Calcium tab; (calcium helps it absorb even more), along with 2 extra methyl folate tablets made by another company, and a b6 tab. I could cry at how much better I feel. I went from feeling half dead to feeling alive and almost normal as soon as I took the 1st dose. It may even be saving my life. Time will tell, but I m definitely sticking with this one. And just to help others, I take 2 of these together at the same time, which totals 1 mg. of b12 which my deficiency requires. Also, these aren t meant to be chewed or placed under the tongue. Only swallowed. If you place it under the tongue, the intrinsic factor cannot work in your stomach to absorb it, & that s where it needs to work. Sublinguals go directly to the bloodstream, but this is the ONLY swallowable b12 that includes the intrinsic factor. If you re like me, and your stomach doesn t produce that factor so that you can absorb b12, then this product will be a Godsend, as it is for me. 5neuropathyI get neuropathy in my hands that can sometimes be very painful to the point that I can't lift a cup of coffee. Ever since I started taking this brand of B-12, I have not had any problems. I take one tablet each morning. If I miss a day, the neuropathy comes back. I am type 2 borderline diabetic with an A1C of 6.2. I have been controlling it with diet and exercise. I didn't feel well when on Metformin. 5Five StarsThe best vitamins. This brand doesn't upset my stomach. 5I am very glad they decided to make this switchI have needed this for sometime for the supplements I have been taking to absorb from my stomach and small intestine. I discontinued taking it briefly in the Spring when I realized they were using folic acid instead of one of the more absorable forms of folate. I began taking it again when they made the switch to methyl folate. I missed it, I didn't have as much energy, I had begun to drag after a few weeks without it. I am very glad they decided to make this switch, it is a much better product.
