I measured like instructed and ordered the size based on thatI am only giving this one a 3 star. I measured like instructed and ordered the size based on that. I should have paid attention to the other reviews. It was HUGE. Now having to return it and order a smaller brace. Other than it being very large I think it would have provided the suppot I need. 3Fit my very large leg.The brace fit my leg which was surprising. However, after wearing for a short time it would start to slide but that is to be expected since my thigh is larger than my calf. At the end of the day the straps would start to cut into the back of my knee which was quite uncomfortable. To resolve this issue I started wearing the brace outside my pants (since it is winter). I have seen improvements in my knee since I have started using it. I don't have the pain and swelling that I had been having before hand. I will continue to use the brace when I exercise in the near future. I love the fact that I can bend my knee enough when using it that I can use it in yoga class (it allows me to kneel completely in the floor). I would recommend it to other fat people who can't fit anything else being that nothing else would fit for me to compare it to. 4Great Knee BraceI have been living with a torn acl for the better part of 10 years. Tore it in a college football game ruined my scholarship and future in football. My insurance did provide me with a knee brace but would not cover the correct size so the place I got it through had to modify it and did a pisspoor job I wore it the first year or so and dealt with the discomfort because it is all I had to walk better . After moving 4 times in short order I lost my original brace and just dealt with the pain and unsteadiness until recentlyI found this brace on here and it was sold in a 5xl. I ordered it came 1 day early and has improved my mobility and lessen my pain in my knee and back as I can walk normally again. Only issue I have is some stitching in the upper border has came loose. Also came with no instructions on how to put on. I had to figure it out via trial and error will buy again for my left knee joint as it to has some injuries from sports 4Order smaller and enjoy.Very well built, however, far bigger than what is stated. I found it to run roughly about 3 inches too wider than stated, so bare that in mind when ordering. The general shape, and workmanship is good for the price. It is soft and easy to put on. It lays flat and doesn't require more than the person putting it on. The velcro is very sturdy. I am trading in my 5x for a 2x with the amount of size difference. 3I am a women's size 20 at 5'4". My big one has 4 straps that close behind the leg (not easy to do when you're unstable. So tried this "front closure" smaller one. I've only worn it twice, so far, and both times it slipped down. Must get it tighter I guess and bear the pain. 4Always falls downThis item worked fine only initially; comfortable and stabilized my knee. In a short amount of time, about 2-3 months, it began falling down. At first I could adjust it and it might last 1-2 hours. That shortly degraded into not staying up at all. I would not recommend this item. 1
