Not tall enough in the back for good support and too short on sides if you have any fatNot tall enough in the back for good support and too short on sides if you have any fat.The back is a little short but not a big deal. the sides are not tall and the right side kept rolling down and poking me in the side. I assume its because Ive got some love a handles but it wasn't comfortable or supportive. I returned it for this reason.I have one that is RX and tall and firm that I love and cost a grip but is more supportive. But it is large ad has its own carrying case. I was looking for something to keep at work on days that I forget to grab my case.Im going to keep looking3Excellent Support - No roll over.What a back brace belt! - lots of support and doesn't roll down or fold over like some of the rubbery support braces do.5Hard To Believe -- Relief From Pain For Only $13.49Just went through my second lumbar back surgery, fusing L3 to L4 (which was previously fused to L5 in 1986). A neurologist found a cyst on my spine that was responsible for the severe nerve pain I'd been enduring for two years. By the way, that was two years of seeing orthopedic physicians and pain doctors without being provided any relief. My first rule in suffering any kind of constant pain: Find out what the structural problem is and fix it! Don't let a pain doc keep promising you "only one more injection" or "this is the newest and greatest technique and it 'should' work." And certainly don't allow them to get you hooked on opiods!This brace has been invaluable for helping me recover from the surgery and to help while the scar tissue is being broken down in physical therapy. It is wide enough to avoid rolling over, the double fastening allows you to make it as snug as you want, and it provides excellent support both when resting and moving about doing your daily chores. It is strong and well-built, the fabric is flexible and breathable (great in hot weather climates), and there are 7 stays sewn into the back panel of this brace to provide proper support.Just a comment on "modern medicine". When I had L4 fused to L5 in 1986, I was in the hospital for five days and then released in a full medical body cast which I stayed in for six months. In December of 2018 I had L3 fused to L4, was in outpatient care for 24 hours and 7 minutes, and then walked out with no brace. Pretty darn impressive. So was the bill though at $299,000.5Back braceLove love5GraciasPerfecto5Provides decent supportI won't list all my back troubles here (there's not enough space - ha), but I need to use support like this brace quite frequently. I have a couple of braces already - one for moderate support and one for major support, but I hadn't found a brace that offers mild support while being comfortable and adjustable and not too skinny or too wide. Most fit one or two of the criteria I'm looking for, few meet several, and it's rare to find one that fits all. I've purchased (and returned those I could as medical equipment isn't always able to be returned if it has been opened) more than I care to admit. A couple fit my needs, but ended up giving up the ghost after only a few uses thanks to less than stellar velcro and/or poor workmanship. I am happy that so far this belt has survived past the timelines of others. I don't need moderate or maximum support most of the time, and this belt works well at giving me enough support to go about my day. What I like most about this brace is that it isn't a heat sink like thicker neoprene braces that not only trap heat but sweat as well. It traps some heat, of course, though it only becomes uncomfortable to wear after extended activity. I also like that this belt doesn't roll or fold down like others I've tried. It's comfortable enough to nap in for a couple of hours as well. Handwashing is the only way to go if you want to keep a brace like this in the best condition. If you have pets, fair warning that their hair gets trapped in the weave of the fabric and loops of the velcro.4Great support!I originally ordered this to use while playing golf, as lower back muscle soreness usually begins bothering me after about 9 holes or so. However, I've found this product is great to wear while performing everyday chores and repairs around the house as well.Also, I occasionally experience pretty bad sciatica to the point where my waist can't support my torso unless I'm seated and absolutely still, without shooting pain occurring from my neck to my toes. I wore this during my last bout with that a few days ago, and it at least allowed me to get up out of the chair and function with minimal pain.I have a 38 waist and ordered an X-Large (36 - 47 ) which fits perfectly. I suggest you order one size up, as a Large (33 - 44 ) probably would have been too small, even though it's listed as being well within my waist size.The front Velcro closure is large and holds the belt in place very securely, and in addition there is an adjustable elastic strap at the rear also held in place by large strips of Velcro which can be adjusted to give you just the right amount of support you're looking for.Very satisfied with this purchase, and I'd recommend it to anyone who experiences back issues like mine.* Note: I strive to write concise reviews with honest opinions to assist you as a potential buyer, and receive no monetary compensation for doing so. Thanks!5Not All That Bad For An Inexpensive Back BraceI have a back brace that is very similar to this brace that I purchased ~ 3 years ago. It is getting a little long in the tooth so I though I would try this one. My spine is pretty messed up especially @ the lower area near the tailbone & in the neck area. I am numb from the knees down - like how your mouth feels at the tooth carpenter s office.The first thing that I noticed very quickly is that this brace does not have any padding or spine alignment feature like my old brace has - there are several photos depicting both braces & the comparison between the two braces.The other thing is that the brace did not come with any instructions on how you are to wear it. If this is your first time using a device like this, you may have no idea on how it works or how to wear it. This brace is also has more height to it in the belt so it covers a tad more of my back/ribs. The center parts of both braces are the same height. It looked to me that you put in on and wear it just like the old brace.After putting it on and adjusting it on my torso, it felt tight & comfortable & not digging into my ribs like the old brace is now doing. Having more height in the belt, I felt that it is too loose on the tailbone and spine because there wasn t any padding or spine alignment/curvature feature like my old brace. I did not feel/notice that until I had it on for ~ 4hours.I have taken the brace off and repositioned it several times since I have been wearing it. The best position for me is lower on the back/spine & very tight. I think after wearing it for a few more days that I will get used to the new feel and the brace will work just dandy.If all you need is partial back/spine support this back brace covers a good size area it is a very effective as a brace & positioned @ at a low price point. It earns 5 stars.5MUST HAVE TO SAVE YOUR BACKROSCOE BACK BRACE LUMBAR SUPPORT BELTMy husband -- who has a bad back -- says --I do like wearing these lower back braces when doing a lot of bending or working on a ladder. I have had other braces with suspenders and I have just cut those off. This back brace is supportive and does not roll down or move around. Now that it is spring I am doing plenty of outdoor work and this back brace is a must!!!These braces come in handy for those who work lifting heavy materials, bending, have had back surgery, have had back problems -- the list is endless. These braces help prevent strain and injury.There is a simple Velco belt that you tighten to your comfort level. It takes about a minute to put this on and you will certainly be glad that you did. The brace also has internal vertical supports. You can also wear this under your shirt or blouse if you like. I am a 38 inch waist and this size -- 33-44 -- fits perfectly.This is part of my wardrobe when doing any work for any length of time. It helps keep me mobile, is supportive, doesn't move around, and feels like it isn't even there when I am wearing it.
