The chart showed to order a men's medium for my ...The chart showed to order a men's medium for my waist size. However, after reading other reviews, I ordered the next size up which was the Men's large Waist 36 - 38. This was the correct choice. If you are not of a thin frame, or if you are a body builder, I would suggest ordering one size larger. 5GREAT back supportsThis is my 2nd Saunders S'port All Back Support. After 12 years I needed a larger size & this was still available. My 1st pair was in black, this 2nd is in white, and fortunately I am well past menopause. Saunders has kept the 2-part system for "GREAT" back support, for example, setting flagstones. The outer velcro closing band is useful for quicker on-off's and for needs that are less heavy duty, for example, lifting heavy boxes. 5Good- could be great if...Good support; shorts hold brace in place. Wear a thin cami to tuck in, as it can get hot, uncomfortable next to skin. Wish shorts were a more breathable fabric. Need to make a separate offering designed for women. I do experience less pain wearing it, use better posture. 4Most of the garment is excellent but the lower hem is so tight it's unwearableMost of the garment is excellent but the lower hem is so tight it's unwearable. The hem has NO stretch in it which is not appropriate in a stretch garment. The rest of it is great and is doing the trick, but I've had to snip the hem (and it's still too tight so chafing) and next will be to cut the hem off and resew using stretch sewing basics. Not happy, as it's not cheap (and with postage to Australia it's over the top expensive). 3Waist did not stretchThe waistband was so tight it would not open up enough for me to get it on over my hips. I returned it. 1Great braceThis is the best brace I have ever bought. It stays in place and is very secure. I threw my back out and with this brace was able to lift my newborn again and move around the house and even do some walking to get exercise without being completely debilitated. Its not bulky and fits under a shorts and a t-shirt or even a suit (which allowed me to cut the rug at a wedding). The brace detaches from the shorts with Velcro and I cant state enough what a life saver it is if you have a weak lower back and injure it often. 5Use for golfThe back brace is wonderful and really supportive. I play over 80 rounds of golf a year. I have had multiple herniated discs that have healed but my lower back can still flare up. The spandex bottoms are connected to the brace portion - this keeps the brace from riding up. My version came with a fly opening. It is difficult to use the restroom but not impossible. Plus I would not wear underwear with this brace. The brace is great while standing but odd while sitting - remember it is a brace. Here is the downside - it is not easy to take off because of the attached shorts. So you will be wearing this in the 19th hole while drinking a beer unless you want to change clothes. I love it because it allows me to play golf. You are not going to find a better brace. 5I can walk a lot better, sit and get up easily & stand for ...due to Spondylolisthesis, I was advised by my Dr. to wear a back belt support as often as possible. after trying so many in vain, I thought I would give this belt a last chance and it was IT. I can walk a lot better, sit and get up easily & stand for a reasonable time without any pain. I would highly recommend it to anyone who suffers of same issue after checking with Dr. first. 5Seller suggested to resell instead of accepting a returnI bought this item while pregnant and obviously could not try it at that time. After I gave birth and tried the item, it wasn't too comfortable to wear. When I contacted the seller, they refused to return the item and suggested I resell it somewhere, since it brand new. Absolutely not worth the money. There are much more comfortable options out there twice as cheap. 1I feel like this would be a worthwhile purchaseI have purchased three of these hoping to get one that would fit properly. If I can get the right size, I feel like this would be a worthwhile purchase. Right now I don't think so. 2
