Not all Features WorkedThe clock was purchased for a newly blinded older friend. The sound volume is fine. Setting it by some sighted is pretty easy. Size is hand size and works. Couple of issues..... 1) the button pushed to obtain the voice is too small and not easy to find for a blind person - needs to be more tactile. 2) after attempting many times, ! was unable to have the year given. It appeared to be set, but when the month, date, day was given, the year was not part of the announcement. The clock was good for my friend and he likes it as it gives him control of tracking time, date and day pf week.4Better than a talking clock!I purchased this to aid a Senior-senior lady who was constantly confused as to time,date,and especially Day of Week!I was surprised as to great clarity of voice for such a low price! Anything I would improve? Speak slower .Otherwise agreat item,and FUN to use!4easy to useThis was very easy to set up and use easily by the 92-year old I bought it for. I did read previous reviews to cover the back set up buttons, and he is using it without getting things reset.5It worksThis product works great , a little bit of patience & you'll have it all figured out . She was 96 and basically blind. We tried to find a clock that talked and tried multiple brands and items that would work for her. She taped this to her walker and it was with her all the time. It was so easy for her to find the button when she can't see and press it to find the time and date. She died 2 months ago and we cannot believe how much happiness this little thing brought her in her last days. This item was placed in her hands in the coffin as it meant that much to her. We were continually thanked by the family for finding this. We tried that bubble thing you press and place on a table and multiple other more expensive items. She was a feisty person and spoke her mind so when she tried these other things she let you know exactly what she thought of them. This one was the biggest and best find ever. I'm the daughter-in-law and I feel this actually brought us closer because I cared enough to find something that actually worked for her. If you have an elderly person who can't see well and relies on the radio, tv or a talking device for the time and date this is the answer.5Poor internal battery connectionPoor battery connection always needing adjustment to work1
